booked thurs fri as holiday as its my daughters birthday today and mine tomoz

supposed to be a few days chilling out but today was such a nice day i set about the "rust bubbles" on my rear arch which have got worse over the last 2 mths
The rust bubbles turned out to be little bubbles of water under the paint, minimal surface rust,so iam thinking easy fix , have it done today only the preevious spray job must have been done by a four year old

the rear pas door and rear 1/4 have always been a prob for me as they were painted in the wrong shade of silver when i purchased it but to find the poor prep work carried out is unbelievable...... the paint just pulled off in strips !!!! i actually resorted to using a wallpaper scraper to get off what i could and hard to believe but it came off easier than any wallpaper ive ever stripped.Ive spent nigh on 6 hrs prepping the full back 1/4 and managed to get a quick coat of primer on before it got dark more sanding tomorrow then i need to find somewhere under cover to paint it iam goin to paint it myself and see how it comes out,as i found the £150 quote a bit over the top as i was quoted £70 to blow door and rear 1/4 over from a mate but after seeing the state f it today it jumped to £150 iam no professional but ive done loads of spraying before so have a good idea of "how to" ill be taking some pics as of tomorrow from the primer stage to finished paint and buffed up wish me luck
