Maybe if it had been the LC I thought you had posted about  :-?

Carltons never did it for me I'm afraid.

Me neither - but the Lotus is a very different car from any other Carlton. Personally, I would love one. :y
Anyway, you wouldnt really swap the fizzy for an LC350 would you ? I do know you love that little fizzy. ;) ::)

All Lotus Omegas were left hand drive, The Lotus Carlton is what we got via Vauxhall, so these were all right hand drive...

Oh yes please..love Carltons had 3 of the Gsi variety before the Omega replacement.I have never driven a LC but my hubby was taken out in one and the power just blew him away,377bhp with no traction control, scary stuff..He was buzzing when he came back in lol.

First time you came to visit you were on the phone saying "Albs, I cant find your house" I stood at the front door waving at you like  someone demented, but you still drove right past three times. I think your more visually challenged than I am. :P ::) ;D ;D

I'd love an LC, though not good enough (or rich enough) to keep it in tip top condition.

With a car as visually chavved up as an LC, I'd have to learn restraint, else I'd end up taking up any challenge from chavs at the lights...

oh yes, it's absolutely not a car to take anywhere you're in a hurry.

very similar to the Holden in a number of ways, but chiefly in that it's maybe at it's happiest when just pootling around. There just never seems to be enough space to give it the beans.
