Full LPG tank weight?

As title, want to load the boot and see if the rear sags excessively. Full 100litre to be safe.

Not sure of LPG weight, but water would be 80kg, plus the tank weight.

I'd go for about 100Kg all in... Possibly slightly OTT but better that than under ;)

Stako's 360mm 100L tank weighs 34 kg, plus 40kg of gas = 74kg. :y

He'll be having a 400mm dia tank though, although the weight shouldn't be dramatically different.

Plus frame, straps, bolts, spreader plates, filler, pipework, valves etc...

Probably about 85-90Kg I would have thought... :-/

My tank is a GZWM 77L centre filled 4 hole toroidal and according to the shipping weight is 44KGs if this helps.

'tis a good point, though. What we're talking about is the effect of a single fairly well-built passenger sitting slightly aft of the back seat.

Perhaps that answers the question?

I just lifted my new tank into my storage facility (boot of car), got square gonads now. Forgot quite how heavy they are  :-[

What tank did you go for in the end TB?

And where did you source it? I can't get a reply from Teilo to save my life!
