Why such a difference

Bristol (Cribbs) - LPG 68p

Cheltenham (any) LPG 80p

WHY such a vast difference?

If I lived where it was cheap, I'd be laughing! As it is, my conversion will take much longer to pay back.

Still cheaper than around here ;) ;)

Although I can get it for 73.9 if I go into Ipswich, my local stations are 82.9 :o :o

That said, the average cost saving is still just a shade under 10p per mile :y :y

73.9 here at one place, most others are 80p.  My local BP has just dropped 1p to 78.9p, but it costs me too much in tyres to use those retards...

79p - 85p is the range around here at the moment. Its crippling tbh.Just wish I still worked 5 minutes from home. :(

Asda have always been the cheapest, back in the day it was 57p for LPG and 70p in Brackley!

Last time i checked it was 69p at Asda and 79p at BP in Brackley.

Its shot up so much! Sooo glad I picked no car commute option when buying my first property!

Think the new BP services by Colchester Football Ground is still 75.9 if that helps

I did notice that the other day ( when my tank was full  ::)) but its too far out of my way, unless I happen to be on my monthly pilgramage to Chavtown on sea. ;)
Its a shame, because I have a car on the drive that a few years ago I would have undoubtedly spent a few bob and a lot of tlc on, and the only thing I would have considered doing with it would be to keep it for my own car. As things are, keeping it is the one option I wont be considering. :(

I was on my way to Bristol the other day and thought I had enough gas to get to Cribbs, but BEEEEP!!! ran out just before Taunton, luckily I was just by an Esso station that sells lpg and put a tenners worth in at 79p, that got me to Cribbs ASDA where I filled up at 68p!!!

When I first had my Mig 5 years ago I was paying 34p at Cribbs ASDA!! Its abit sad that I'm starting to think about how much to put in, and how far the next place is cause its abit (or alot) cheaper... Heyho thats progress I suppose  :(

Do you get a discount with a Shell loyalty card, or points?

Points which get converted (in my case) to money off fuel vouchers every 3 months.

Not much money off - my vouchers tend to be around £4 - £10 every 3 months depending on what promotions they run.  So only worth doing if the fuel cost is competitive in the area.
