I need to get in on this LPG stuff, where do I get my kit and whos helping me fit it???
The idea of a fitting party was mooted about last year, but we proved its simply not possible to do multiple cars in a very long weekend.  3 of use may *just* have got one car done on a very long weekend.

This time, I'l probably doing my car over at least 2 weekends...

Can be done in 2-3 days as long as everything goes to plan... Think mine took 3 days total and we did Tunnie's 4 pot in 2.5 days, although one of those was a 12 hour one ::)

But, I had a pre drilled fannymould to put straight in ;) ;)

I would give it to a LPG fitting company to do but I've heard of so many nightmare stories so would rather get help from someone on the forum for a more professional fit ;)

The only company I would recommend is the one that Entwood used... And that'll be a little over £2k :o

Jim, you are capable of doing it yourself with some help and guidance... I'm sure between us we can help out :y

Re fitting party, I am sure front end kit could be fitted in a weekend, and being the hardest part would be best use of party time.

Tank fitting would be the easier job I suppose? So could be done at home the following weekend.

Main thing is to get the injectors fitted to the vaporiser and inlet sealed, then the car can be driven (although its better to plum the water works as well while its apart) and all else fitted when time allows. Personally I had the entire loom cable tied up in the engine bay waiting completion for a fortnight.  ::)  ;D

I was kind of thinking the same myself last night - the rear end should doable for DIYers, if they knew where to drill (this is my problem currently).  When I do the Elite, I was thinking of making a 'template' and/or measurements for the tank mounting (for 80l tanks - 100l would have to sit forward by 70mm) and the holes for the pipes.  Unless somebody already knows where to drill?

Actually, a bit more than 70mm, as the widest point of tank is higher, and the back seats slope....
