My main concern with buying a bmw is ive been told the ride is hard on them   given i have spinal problems i want something that can waft along absorbing the bumps like my omega but i want a newer car mind you i never considered the 7 series range ive only ever been in a 3 series

in all honesty i wanted a chrysler 300c but there out of my price range.
Idealy rear wheel drive and have a decent amount of power from the engine. i would possible buy an lpged petrol but i am looking for a diesel

Who does a 3000cc diesel?

you know the jag would be comfy.
Bimmer will usually be stiffer, bit more sporting.
Volvo is front wheel drive,
Mercedes will always be a good choice.

Yes 7k is a lot of money for a 10yr old car, but not really for a 10yr old car that was worth best part of 70k when new in that spec....you get A LOT of car for your money. And mega performance too boot.
Probs not what he's looking for though, i admit.

There has to be some 300c 3.0l d saloons out there touching 8k now?

7 series Beemers are uber comfy and 231 BHP and 40 MPG sounds good to me :y

Had a look before and there is nothing available with under 110k mileage for £8000. So they most likely not an option.

And anything earlier, like an XC 70 is probs not the right styling..

But your are correct, they exist

A mate of mine had a 9-3 turbo convertible. I thought it was over priced crap tbh. Couldnt think of anything good to say about it. :-?
For me, 7-8 grand would probably be spent on a Beemer or Merc.

If you buy a 5 series BMW without run flat tyres. The ride is very smooth :y
