Car tax

Received the reminder for car tax today and it says £245 for 12 months.

However just looked at renewing it online and I will now have to pay £260   :( :( :( :( :(.

take it to the post office then, they might not charge you £260

The Chancellor increased the road tax in the budget last month!  >:(

No, yours is pre 2001 so does not get that higher bracket, yours will be £215, just same as mine  :y

They will charge the new rate.  I have taxed perhaps 35 cars since the start of the month....   ;)

Forgot it went up this month. If you go the post office then as said above you still get charged the new rate. Happened to me a while ago :(.
