Now that is demoralising!
« on: 01 May 2011, 14:28:15 »

While investigating the oil leak I found this, and the stealers arent open to get a replacement!  :'(

Which means I'll have to put it all back together until I get the part and then strip it down again as I need to pick up the wife tomorrow am from Heathrow.

Unless anyone has any ideas?  :(

Unless you drive it down this evening I can get a new one on tuesday.  I could put it back on and hope for the best, it was sitting slightly proud and not properly honed hence the leak.  What do you think?

Was it leaking alot? is this why you removed it?
Personally I would not removed some of the things you have without having some of the parts sitting next to me .. but to late now... can't you lend someones car? seems daft to put it all back together to strip it down again in a couple of days.. :-?

Borrowing the neighbour's car tomorrow  :y

I had no idea the seal was that shot, I just noticed it was a bit proud when pearing through the cam cover.  Otherwise I would have got a spare.

Well it seems I dont know my own strength as I have knackered something else too  :-[

Daz shopping list inbound via PM  :y
