Tyre pressure help

Can I have an opinion on what I should inflate my tyres to as I'm unsure.

size is 235/35r19y

was thinking 32psi?

235/45/17 is stated as 32 psi (for non loaded, non high speed), so wonder if your lower profile should be a bit harder  :-/

depends on your daily commute roads.. if they are ok you can use 32 psi.. otherwise I wouldnt go down below 35 with those tires without risking them..

Normally to and from work. just me in the car 40mph or so

My Old Beemer had staggered Alloys 235-35-19 on the front that was 38 PSI and the rears were 265-30-19 they were 45 PSI.

So I'd say around 38.

I have more or less this set up on my Mig Estate ('cept 275/30 /19 on rear)

- you need 'em that hard when cold? :o

imo ,  really it depends on the road quality and your driving style.. however when the weather becomes hot you need to drop a bit..

So are we purely pumping up tyres to protect wheel rims from buckling on poor roads?

Because ideally an increase in load would be the only reason I'd increase psi. Otherwise the ride must be painful at 38psi surely....?

no grip at all in the wet. just kicks out, all tyres are currently on 36psi
