nissan cam belt

Morning just got the wife a Nissan Almera tino 1.8 petrol.
04 Plate
Its covered 30k, what i was wondering does anybody know when the cam belt should be done.

Check over the subframe thoroughly... They have a habit of rotting out very quickly ;)

Yep front ones completely rot after around 6-7 years -mot fail few other things

Wiper motors (front and rear) are extremely fragile. Cost over £200 for each motor. engine management light comes on and stays on for no reason. Extremely difficult and costly to get rid of. the rear brake calipers can seize (about £80 each)

also CVT = fail robs the engine of power

The chains aren't too good on these, seen a few stretch leading to bad running and the EML come on. Be warned! ;)

Happy to do Omega servicing etc around Merseyside,cruise activation, airbag lights sorted too...
