« on: 11 June 2011, 00:12:46 »

Having a punt on this, will not go higher even though it has not reached it's reserve.... :) Would be great for running about for work, and I have had a few, though never in auto.... ::) ::)

Still winning, I got brave enough this afternoon to mention, in passing, that I had bid on a car whilst 'in drink'.... :D :D :D

Looks tidy, and only about 10 miles away, a bonus when buying a car....I do not intended to increase my bid, even though it has not hit the reserve... :) My plan is that not many people want an auto Mini and that he will contact me, if it does not sell and try and do a deal.....not the end of the world if I do not win it.. :) :)

SWMBO is trying to talk me into bidding for this car. She thinks it would be great car for our oldest son to learn to drive. He still has 18 months before he is seventeen!! :o :o
I think we will look for a good cheapish car nearer the time :y

Yes, but at the kind of money I am prepared to pay for it, not a problem; I have had a few Minis :y :y

I am just waiting for a message from him to give me a price - I knew I had every possibility of being out bid, but the reserve is not met, so whatever he thinks the car is worth has been proved not to be the case. I sent him a message yesterday asking him to contact me if the deal falls through.... ;)

This is where I pop up again, in Norton, finding fault and explaining it is these faults that stopped the car selling :D  I will then inform him of my researching of prices for the Mayfair, remember this is not a Cooper and it is Auto, who wants to buy an auto Mini, not many and I will mention the amount of cash in my pocket, take it or I walk, not desperate.... :y

A mate of mine had an auto mini when I was at school.

Gearbox was about as decisive as an OOF'er at a meet with a burger in one hand, a beer in the other and a glass of Hotel21's finest on the table. ;D

For those of us on the fringes of civilised society, that paints a wonderfully satisfying picture. ;D ;D ;D
