Crashed, moving on :-(
« on: 28 July 2011, 22:21:37 »

Well I had some annoying chain of events just lately. Took the car to France, it dies, we flies back with the car left at a garage, flew back again a fortnight and £600 later, got the car back after they had put a NEW bottom pulley on it AFTER I TOLD THEM NOT TO, I would remove the one from my old car and post it to them, and they failed to change the tensioner which was fubared, because starting the car was enough to throw it off, got back to my mates house and botched some sink drain and zip ties between the top bolt and bottom half of the damper so it would get us home, saw they had REVERSED it into a bollard and buggered up the back end, got home (just) ran it for a week then..

...straight into the back of a fiesta!!!

 :o :-? :-[ :-X :-/

Write off!!
... And after all that saga with the clutch!

Sadly my post count isn't that high so I can't list the parts but I need to break and sell the good bits and scrap the shell. Both of them.

I know I haven't been a massive user on here, I've only just started getting into the whole forum thing and this was my first half arsed effort, but when I got my second cav turbo I got quite into CTOC and have kind of concentrated on that, but the people here are great, I'm sure I'll still pop on, I'm always having a brouse, but I don't think my next daily runner will be a miggy. As much as I love the rwd and 6cylinders, it simply isn't needed.

Bloody good car it was tho if u ignore it's issues...

Sadly, due to a few ruining it for everyone, you cannot sell your parts here.  So the likes of egay is probably your best option.

Sorry to hear its all gone badly recently.

Ay, hence the need for over 250 post count. you are right about eBay and tbf I've found most of what I've needed on there. A shame I started to really get into te rwd thing, but also a godsend, need something less juicy really, ideally a cav td CDX hatch. Else I'd go out and get another lol.

Small knob and all that..

Dunno I'll prob still have loads of bits when I get my count up lol  :y
