. Maybe late 97 was when the MV6 six arrived here in Spain for the first time and  .....

As the MV6 was Opel's all singing all dancing top spec model I'm sure the Euro MV6 was introduced from the start.

2 pedals, 2 feet... Sorted :y :y ;D ;D

Personally I don't like manual Omega's. The gearbox throw is enormous :o :o Felt like I needed to climb into the back seats to get 2nd and 4th ::) :o :D

OK... Slight exaggeration... But, for me, I find the throw in the manual is too long to give much benefit in the twisties over an auto.

Oh... And the last manual Omega I drove was a certain Stokies silver one so it was a goodun and I must admit it did make me smile, just not something I'd want to live with long-term :y :y

@Tunnie: What's the CD? Specs good? I can't see if the interior is in good nick from the pics but will check it in person in the next few days. Are there any pics of a pre- 98 MV6 with a mini-facelift anywhere on the forum that you can point me to?

CD Spec (one picture looks like CDX) is fairly basic, in fact its only one above base spec!

Here in the UK, MV6 was not launched until 1998 with the mini-facelift.

So specs here tend to be very different to Europe.

Perhaps Cem knows more about what kind of spec you get over there?

not sure about Spain but here all CD models are imported with nearly all the toys.. Sunroof, rear curtain, heated leather chairs, 6 cd changer, electric mirrors, digital ac ,cruise control,  mid etc.. mine is 97 have all those except xenons which I added as aftermarket ..

Nice looking car. Plenty of power for an auto

OR Desirable 2.5Dti never sold in the Uk. This one is a manual and looks as though it has cloth seats( I hate leather seats over here). The Elegance seems to be the equivalent of our UK CDX or possibly higher spec. You would have to have a look if it has air shockers on the back for example. Not so sure about the wheels though.
