Looked at it in disgust ::)

I suppose I'd better order a radiator for the replacement one. Question is, do I do the cam belt and water pump whilst it's apart... No proof of when it was done but certainly more than 4 years, although probably under 20k :-\

Or do I make sure it's going back on the road by MOTing it and then do the other work later, probably when swapping LPG over :-\

I'd do this so that you have a list of priorities first, then you can make an informed decision.  :y

+1,mot has to be the first step just to make sure its viable at all :y

I suppose I could change the radiator and rear shocks (I already have some) and then make a decision after the MOT :-\

I'll need to strip it down a bit to transfer the LPG so could do the cam belt then... Just don't really want to waste the coolant amongst other things ::)

You and I both know that trying to retain the coolant is just a PITA.

And neither car has a decent rad or any coolant ::) ::)

You can, but it's fiddly and irksome... collecting (most of) it in a bucket and flushing down the toilet is definitely easier ;)

Fitted a new n/s/f hub. Then nipped down the local garage and got them to torque it up to 325nm. I offered payment, but they refused.  :)

Hi Gollum

The local gynecologist recommended amputation.

Two Michelin Pilot Sport 4's fitted and 1/3 worn Dunlop SportMaxx RT2 moved to another wheel and now stowed in the spare wheel space.... Other 1/3 worn SportMaxx RT2 consigned to scrap tyre pile due to four inch tear on inside tyrewall. Bloody potholes.

Only positive side to the tale is that at least I have a full size spare on board now.

Fell out with the CK7W many years, too many echo issues. Started using the Bury kits with the appropriate 'take and talk' cradles, now have the bury screen (AD9060) installed in place of the cradles in all the cars.

Yep, still knocking. Just waiting for the top mount bearings to arrive from Germany, and then change everything on the front end that hasn't been changed already.  :y

I like them, based on their simplicity, and just needing a single button to be mounted. Plus they can pair up to 8 devices, and connect to them all :)

The echo isn't an issue for us any more, as we use gayPhones, which (like Nokia or the era) have echo cancellation built into the handset.

This issue on this specific unit was it refused to connect to a phone when you got in the car, unless the phone was is its searching mode. Bizarre.
