Took Omega 2001 for MOT (Second Trial) this morning, now passed so 12 months more life for it. Afternoon had full geometry check and toe adjustment  after having changed tie rods. Front Camber  Left -1 degree & 28 minutes and Right -1 & 27. So in Green but perhaps not like recommended here somewhere, didn't find those values yet.

Not sure what changing the tie rods would do to the camber ???

A list of all the pre and post measurements front and rear would be of more use in determination of the settings.

Sure, tie rod change does not have anything to do with camber. What I tried to say (with my English) that full geometry was checked but only toe was adjusted. Although  camber was in green I was just wondering where to find the recommendation for it. I remember someone here, perhaps TB, mentoined that camber is important in Omega as it has strong influense on tyre wear. All values were between max and min in the report.

"Green" on the machine generally isn't good enough on ageing Omegas.

Thrust Angle absolutely must be 0.00, and the front camber I think should be about 0'15 (but I'd need somebody to check that as not sure I'd still have any paperwork left from my long gone Omegas).  Front camber being within the factory spec, especially towards the Irmscher spec of 0'40 will trash front tyre on the inner shoulder in no time...   ...no need to ask how I know that.

Dragged an air cooled Beetle engine out from my "store" to rebuild for sale to raise some funds, found all the bits to build it including new crank and cam bearings, gaskets, 110 cam, 1679cc pistons and barrels as well as gaskets ,seals and push rod tubes. Just missing a crank pulley. All parts left over from when I ran a garage and drag race beetle, its a bitsa but will be fine.

I remember those Boxer Engines well, I remember also that ccm was increased also by "Stroking". You mentioned also pistons. Was the base engine 1500 ccm?

1300cc but the oversize pistons and barrels will make it 1679cc, thats as big as you can go without machining. I did build a 1903 cc for the drag beetle.

Finally succeeded to link the picture with my phone, I am in mobile home and do not have computer with me.
Then let's learn Finnish:

Alkutilanne = before adjustment
Then spec. min max
Lopputilanne = after adjustment
Etu = Front
Taka = Rear
Vasen = Left
Oikea = Right
Pyörän sivukallistuma = Camber
Auraus = Toe in
While writing this I realized that Rear Left Camber out of spec. (slightly)
