TB and I, well TB almost completely, spent a good portion of today working on my ice project, almost there. And I'm massively grateful.  :)

Thanks Mr and Mrs TB.  :y

Packed up the (wet  >:() tent and set off home from Cornwall and realised immediately that the indicators weren't working. ::)

Determined it was the flasher unit. 15 minutes later I had a new one from the local Halfrauds and all was well again. Not often you can say you fixed a car with bits from Halfrauds these days (unless it's suffering a lack of blue LEDs). ;D

Finished installing headlamp washers. Did a little bit of spraying to a door rub strip. Sprayed a lot of penetrating fluid on the exhaust joints/ bolts etc. hoping to remove and replace it in the next few days - rain and time constraints depending.

With great help from TheBoy and chrisgixer, put a new standard exhaust + cats on the MV6.
LH Lamba sensor refused to play the game, so ended up having to replace it, but eventually got it all done.

Very quite now - should please the wife. ;D

TheBoy also replaced the fuel filter whilst laid out under it. :)

Need to get the problem sensor out, then PowerFlow exhaust will be going on Ebay.

Many thanks to TheBoy and chrisgixer for there help and support. Much appreciated - Top Top guys.

Need to remember to bed the pads in before I test it

Best let mrs TB drive it for a bit first. You would'nt want to forget and cook them inadvertently. ::)

Also don't touch them afterwards. They might be hot... :D

(ducks for passing lorry :-X)

Thats it! You've cracked it! You have answered the long standing query about BMW owners never indicating....  ....Halfords don't sell flasher units for beemers!  Well done on this discovery.

I believe this is why the BMW robots never leave the outside lane - they can't indicate to get in, so they have to stay there.

Removed the centre boxes and rear box. came in for a spot of lunch before going back out to drill out the o/s cat studs and then replace the boxes.
It has now started to absolutely tip it down, and it looks like its here to stay. :'(
