Cleaned breather pipes and plenum. fitted new thermostat and inlet pipe ( all works - but in first trial run didn't connect the one of the pipes on the front of the plenum - first thought oh no...... but in closer inspection find out that was only the pipe uffff) B Bolt hurray took me max 6 minutes. Unplug the Power sounder ( was draining battery like crazy )VX told me that new one need to be programmed to the car
few more things to do
VX dealer give me the price for cam cover gaskets £120 all together (or work done by them almost £400)

is it worth to buy the gaskets from VX or different place ?
Think you have to take the rough with the smooth with Vx... :y The cam cover gaskets are there,Along with the 16 O rings

Bought a new 3.0 backbox so I can convert to dual/quad pipes to match the Irmscher rear bumper cut-outs...

I did order 1 from ETS in Germany, but after arguing with them that a custom fit exhaust is just that, they cancelled the order and kept saying it won't fit.... I kept syaing it doesn't matter as its a custom fit, but they still arrogantly told me it wont fit and cancelled the order on me... opps 'em then... left bad feedback and a snotty email to them too... got my money back and got a BB from my local exhaust suppliers instead and paid £10 extra....

New windscreen hopefully being fitted to the 2.6 on Friday ::)

Which hasn't happened due to the replacement screen having scratches on it, at least Autoglass rang and advised and have provisionally arranged another install date which is more than Auto Windscreens managed to do on the four attempts to fit a screen to the old DTi Elite I had a few years back.....

Half considering keeping an eye out for a second hand good condition screen as obtaining a GM 24433002 (Heat reflective, with rain sensor mounting) is getting harder and harder and I can foresee a time when it will be impossible.

Spent yesterday PM under the Elite removing the rear track rods, freeing them up and refitting prior to geo setup. Then decided that they were still too tight so ordered new Lemforders from ECP.
I'm getting too old for this sh*t. :( :y
