So was that why the last one didn't work...?
Its faulty. I've seen this unit twice, and both times, I've come to the conclusion that its either breaked (my opinion) or a non Omega one (not convinced).

Frustrating isn't it? I smashed myself up 5 years ago. Got wiped out by a tractor. It was 3 years before I could I ride again and then I had to modify the gear change. It's was 3 years of getting fed up not riding.

Today I have mostly been removing the molten remains of aplastic sack from around the exhaust, of all the cars on the M42 on a Friday afternoon why does the rather bag have to blow infront of my car?

Anyway, went and rode something with 100% less maintenance in the afternoon, my horse!

you might well be right....   it was the fact that when last we tried it we got nothing on the screen at all....   but the first time we did it, at the wycombe meet, it did at least show something on the screen, (dark blue background with writing on it as i recall, no idea what the writing said though....  )  even if tech 2 had no communication with it...

we took Dave's suggestion last time that it might be blank because it was in pure as driven snow virgin mode....   at face value, having no real reason to suspect the car's loom.

Does do a pretty good job of cleaning tbh... Just feels a bit daft to use a dental toothbrush when i'm sure there is a proper tool to remove such things that gather on a car after time...

I bet an el-cheapo electric Tesco Value range electric toothbrush would be great for cleaning in all those hard to get at bits, when I cleaned my car the other week, I couldnt clean in all the letters on the badges, so summat like that which can get in small places sounds ideal  :)

Glad someone else is as OCD as me. Was out with toothbrush, nail brush and a wallpaper brush yesterday cleaning all the green crap of my car.  You could have put seeds in the roof gutters and have had two lovely window boxes of flowers growing with all the crap that was in there.
