For the armrest and cubby hole:
1. Scraper.
2. 200 wet and dry.
3. 400 wet and dry.
4. 800 wet and dry.
5. 1200 wet and dry.
6. 1500 wet and dry.

About 4 coats of Tamiya Colour for Plastics TS29 Semi Gloss Black. Runs, if any, flatted with 800 wet and dry, sanding between coats 1500 wet and dry.

For the trim panel:

Alcantara, stuck on with Evostick general purpose fabric adhesive.

The plastic pins/rivets are carefully ground back with a Dremel, and refitted using Pozi Panhead Stainless Self tappers, 8x1/2, with M5 washers. Double up the washers on the trim strip otherwise the screw tips push through.

I use the Tamiya paints rather than Helfrods as they cover better and are alot more consistant.

Sanded and polished the headlights on the DTi, hopefully with some better quality bulbs fitted as well the road won't look quite so yellow!

Just driven it !! Had not used it for about 10 days due to having some leave ,had to nip over to Cambridgeshire this morning.  Had some idiotic white van man trying to hitch a ride on my rear bumper then he tried to overtake into the path of some hgv's, eventually I had to to do the best thing, floored it and escaped the lunatic made me realise why I love the V6 !!

What i did last 2 weeks:
1. New spark plugs
2. changed oil
3.  parking and normal brakes
4.  rear break disks
5. rear shock absorber
6. final and middle right exhaust
7. fitted a thermostat inside the car for the coupe warming
8. fixed extra lights
9. mounted the battery charger inside of car
10. empty it water for windscreen
11. coupled rear seat warming
, , , , .
Later i will post images of what represented final exhaust and the middle.
The last picture was taken today while i was driving, so... who likes snow, is welcome.

With respect,
Francisc

Had great plans for today - mainly change the stat, but it rained all day, very hard at times so only managed to take the breaker down off the ramps and remove all four rear light units. :(
Cavalier was so full of shite that I took a new approach to tidying it yesterday. I drove to the council tip and emptied the contents of the car into one of their skips. ;D

Just got back from a 500 mile round trip, starting Friday morning.  Took SWMBO away to a spa hotel for a couple of days rest and relaxation.   :y  The car performed brilliantly and didn't miss a beat!  And for the first time ever, I managed 400 miles on a single tank of fuel!!  8)

Unfortunately, due to the combination of B-roads and horrendous weather, it looks like it's just competed in the RAC Rally...  :-[  Time to break out the pressure washer...  ::)
