Yup nice new droplink, err prize? What prize!  ;D

Again, very impressed with Meyle parts, droplinks felt very solid & well made, much better than GM in this case, will strongly consider them for anything else.

Finally got round to installing that hard wired fm transmiter for my Ipod  ::) :y

After pulling the centre consul appart to find there is not enough room for a fag paper behind there and then moving on to behind the glovebox to find the same, it ended up cutting the ariel behind the drivers kick panel and with the aid of a new plug and socket from Maplins, I fitted inline  :y

Must say, it works a treat  :y
Well worth the hassle  :)

Interesting, thanks, good to know they still take TC.

Do you always have to show your card, or can you just quote the name?  :)

Perrys Vauxhall in Aylesbury are still accepting TC at the moment, although they are now missing off the TC list of traders.
The guy at the parts desk told me that he hopes they will come up with an alternative for the DIY mechanic.  :-\

Well where do I start?

I saw VXL & TB pull apart one broken Omega then dismantle another Omega, to make one nice Omega and the other that looks like it needs to go to the scrap yard!!

That sounded like a good productive day, until I broke mine!

I was nearly at Telford about 40 miles from home, just got off the motorway when my Ben (my omega) decided that he had enough and wanted to be towed back home by the RAC.  Ben is now known as Bastard Ben!!  I was only saying to TB how much I loved my car.  I should of just kept my mouth shut.

Well sorry to say - VXL V6 you may have a busy bank holiday on your hands, sorry.  LOVE YOU X

Crank pulley failure (harmonic damper part failed)

Off to Halfords for a huuuuge breaker bar tomorrow......

From memory when mine went you need to lock the crank - there's a tool that no one has except the dealers or alternatively lock the flywheel.... I don't have that locking tool either  :'(
