Tightened the front O/S wheel nuts. After a knocking sound became apparent on the way home from work. In my defence, Ive never had the fronts off since I got it home.

I did check the others as a matter of course... :D

Nah, definitely my fault  :-[

It look like it'd creased it, but looks to have now fully returned to original shape, but will need painting.  But the whole car needs painting TBH

Just removed power sounder just in time . All the batteries had leaked onto the
circuit board  ::)
If you get new batteries, i'd be keen to hear where from...
Thanks, Phil

NiCd cells with legs to allow them to be soldered to a circuit board are easy to get hold of. The big problem is that a circuit board that has been leaked on is likely to spontaneously combust. I doubt whether EMD is in any hurry to put his damaged powersounder back in his car.

Last time I looked there were suitable batteries available from uk.farnell.com or rswww.com but it made more sense to pay about £50 for a new powersounder rather than almost as much for replacement batteries.

So, when I looked I couldn't find an exact match 3.6V 140mAH NI-MH (they're not NiCd), and didn't want to go to the effort of installing only to find they'd bugger up something else !
Are new Powersounders only £50, and if so, where from ?  For that, as you say it would be sensible to buy new.

Had new battery fitted this morning(Thanks Birthday Boy ;D ;D).
 This afternoon I thought I would whip the rear bumper off and change the bumper bar, it turned out to be a 6 hour job >:( bar was twisted and split and bent, managed to get it off just to find brackets twisted and bent and the back off the car had been pushed in.

Anyway after 6 hours new bar on nice and straight irmscher bumper sitting nice and hopfully no more rattles.
