Yes, it tells you to warm the oven before using. Spray it straight in at max revs and report back, Albs.

if the voice command was half decent. (Its not).  ....

Mine is sh1te too!  ;D
You need to speak in 'Allo! 'Allo! Gestapo German for it to understand.

The Jag one actually works really well, but obviously I speak like the Queen.  I guess DTM's car, being much newer, he has to speak fluent Hindi English.

Finally resolved diesel leak on 2.5 DTI.
Turns out that piece of rubber hose that goes from fuel filter to HPFP started to disintegrate. I couldn't find new peace so I had to fabricate it, and it works. I cleaned EGR while I was there, now I have to resolve cold start problem in the morning. Glow plugs, relay or both probably..

Assuming the DTi is a similar setup to the older 2.5TD, with the exception of common rail fuel delivery, the glow plugs are nice and easy. Worth having spare inlet manifold gaskets before removing the intake if it hasn't been off for a while, in case you year one, but all straightforward and easy :y

When I did my 2.5TD ones, it was during my lunch hour at work, and still had time for a quick bite and a brew :)

You are correct. Manifold was down couple months ago when HPFP decided to die.
Honestly, Bmw could make it simpler. I remember changing those on 2.3td Frontera, and it could be done on parking lot with one eye and one hand.

Drove it to the Minor injuries unit in Horsham, who apparently can't be arsed to look at a deep cut, let alone dress it :-X

They suggested Crawley at 16.45 on a weekday. So belted it down to St Richards in Chichester. Because you know Crawley will say East Surrey due to TCV and too late to be seen.

Highlighted two issues... The front pads aren't happy and the gearbox needs about a litre of fluid to smooth the shifts out. Job for tomorrow* ::)

The cheapest R Class in the country is starting to look like a good idea :-X

I do, but it is almost as old as Tunnie and won't stop a bleed on blood thinners.

Besides, you can't use plasters any more in case wound is allergic :-X
