Yesterday put the dashboard and the other bits of the interior back into the C1.
This morning, removed the n/s front hub in readiness for another one arriving in the next few days.
The wheel bearing is absolutely shot, and not having a ten ton press handy its easier to replace the whole hub.
This is more than likely the cause of the strange noise that I probably misdiagnosed as knackered PAS motor.
So ripping out the dash and steering column probably didnt need to be done.

Having said that, the PAS warning light used to appear for the first 100 yards of driving, and thats stopped now, so not a complete waste of time and money.
This afternoon washed all the Saharan dust off the Leaf (two bucket method of course) and then dried it.
The C1 is parked next to it, so it seemed rude not to do that too. It was caked in mud from top to bottom.
I feel old and a bit knackered now.

Gave the Omega a good wash while housesitting in Walton on the Naze about a week ago, but thats covered in Saharan sand now too, so that needs doing again.
As for the Sons Civic - words fail me.
