The coolant feed and return to the throttle bodies is missing.

Only a single point kit ?

Looks quite tidy bar the wiring over the master cylinder, will be interested to see how it goes for you with just a single mixer on it

I think that is an OMVL evaporator - big bugger!

Strange path for the hot water feed.

No injectors :o

Switch to petrol about 10 seconds before switching the engine off to get rid of the gas in the inlet trunking.

If its a single point mixer, is there not a possible case of a big back fire, blowing up the airbox?

Danny - have they installed a metal blow back on the airbox?

(basically a big metal flap on the airbox)

Danny, I hate to say this mate, but from what I've seen that's NOT an SGI kit.

And, they have made a real PIGS EAR of fitting it.

It's no wonder it's going to idle badly. If they've used the coolant feed from the throttle bodies it A) Won't get enough coolant and B) Won't get coolant very often! (As it's only a bleed-off back to the header tank!!

that feed can only come from one place - the bridge!

I would be driving it through their window at this stage, having paid what you did....

Yes it is a single point mixer and the entire inlet trunking is full of gas/air mix, if there was a back fire I would rather lose the airbox than the inlet trunking

Agree with Martin

I didn't want to say anything, but it took me a little while to work ut what they did.

That evaporator would not fit under the airbox.

Looks like they've taken that off and diverted it through the evaporator. I doubt there'll be enough coolant flow for that, TBH, and it will only start to flow once the engine is up to full temperature.  :-/

I thought it was a bit cheap - how does it drive?

And why was the loan car not LPG converted?

If that was sold as an SGI system I agree. It clearly is nothing of the sort.

Ditto to what I said above.

As before, I will confidently say looking at those initial pics, that they have made a complete hash up of this.

That coolant feed is totally inadequete.
