Switched back to my Summer 18" Wheels...
« on: 23 March 2008, 01:11:21 »

I know its too early yet but oh well...  :-?

These have Dunlop Sport Run Flat tires but the size is too small I think... 225/40-18, and I am soon going to get some 245/40-18 tires probably something from tirerack.com...

But here are some pics... the car was since washed... the pics are from when it was still dirty and salty from the latest spring snow storm... LOL :-/

17"  with Kumho Ecsta 245/45-17 All season...

18"  Dunlop SP Sport  RFT.. 225/40-18 Summer Tires.

Well the exhaust on it is Steinmetz... the wheels are from a european Astra... the latest model... they sell them here now as Saturn Astra...

I got them over a year ago... and I like them a lot... unlike anything else out there on the roads...

Thanks for the comments m8s ::)

i take it the tyres have 'winter' tread and 'summer' tread?

When in Slovenia, i noticed all the cars had winter tyres, with deep tread and a lot of grip.

Is it common out there for people to have 2 sets of tyres?

I love the car and the wheels but being on astra wheels does it hold the road the same.
