From the GM stable
« on: 05 April 2008, 19:54:56 »

Trying to find some pics of my past car history I came accross these.
Both had the Chevy 350 in them.

The Camaro SS originally had a Big Block 402CI in in and used to run down at Santa Pod on the "Run what ya brung " Meets

As and when I get chance I will get some pictures of my Omega for the gallery.

The 2nd one (Pontiac) had the 350 Chevy block in it and I used to laugh my socks off when my mate used to get inside and sit on the inner wings to service it.

Everything was so big about the car.  I aint liccle but I just leaned forward and an average sized adult could get into the back of the car without me needing to get out.

Hehe, only had an 80mph speedo, it was off the clock in 2nd gear

I wish I had.

Sadly the car is no longer.

One of the heads cracked whist it was in storage, the guy looking after I reckon kept starting it from cold and revving the b*llo*ks off it showing off to his mates.

I then moved it and it got whacked when a fork lift truck hit it and therefore was nomore.

Tis a shame, was was the most un asuming car ever.

Never ever beaton from the lights if I got traction, but then that did'nt matter anyway coz it passed everything I ever went up againt with four wheels on it.   ::)

A sad loss

Wish I had pulled the engine from it and put a pair of new heads on it, at the time it would have made a nice Manta project, but even better now would make a wicked miggy project.

ThaT's NICE

I nearly bought one of old Trans Am Firebirds  400 CI  6.6 but the gear change was a bit iffy.

I wished I had gone the whole hog when I was your and found myself a proper "Smokey and the Bandit" Trans Am

72 MPH is 1st Gear
112 MPH ain 2nd gear and the clock only went to 110 MPH

Awsome cars

Well at least you got the satisfaction of having him beheaded, right? I mean that's still the legal punishment in those cases isn't it?
