BM's Omega
« on: 03 July 2010, 19:11:57 »

Seeing as I couldn't find anything to replace her with, she stays with me for the time being.

Here are a few pictures I took this afternoon after a bucket of water was thrown at her.  Next job is to valet the interior and sort the front bumper which has a few scrapes.  Oh, and bloody ABS ECU.

Any comments welcome  :y

Whatever you've done to your headlight, will you do the same to mine please. Although not yeloow like some of the very early cars, mine are a bit cloudy. (same HID's as yours)  ;)

Thank you very much guys.

She definitely needs a good coat of polish, something I haven't done for a month or so.  The Engine Bay hasn't seen a clean for 6 months, so definitely needs dressing again.  The interior hasn't been cleaned since I bought the car last year.  I'll give it a good going over with the Dyson, then use my steam cleaner on the seats and carpets.

FAO Andy B:  Farecla G3 and an electric mop with a soft/medium density head.  Take your time with it as it can burn the plastic (just as it can burn paint) if you spend too long in one area.  My lenses look as clear as glass now, and the light they emit is nothing short of brilliant.

Thanks again!  :y

I'm not unfortunately, but I'd happily do this for anyone local to me.

I was actually thinking of doing it as an eBay business as many people cant get it 'right'.  The Ford Focus *spit* is even worse for deterioration of lenses.

Basically, I send you out two reconditioned units and you return your 'dirty' ones so I can recondition them.  I was thinking around £15 per side (excluding postage).

Reckon there would be call for it?

Bugger!  :(

I watched Ian_D do a pair, the late WillyBoys IIRC and the difference was quite noticable.

Just a few! lol.  Had issues with electrical problems to the Cimlate Panel, Stereo, the Dash Clocks, Interior Light, Vanity Lights, Drivers Electric Memory Seat.......

All sorted by running separate fused feeds to these components.

Thnaks, I love the colour.  I have a Mk3 Cavalier Diplomat in the same guise.

She'll be resuscitated one day soon, when I have the time and patients.
