Hi, I could not resist adding a photo
I also had a few years ago borrowed caravan. (2007)
The first photo is from Slavkov (Austerlitz - Battle of Three Emperors - who knows history - December 2, 1805,Napoleon defeated the armies Kutuzov  and Franc Joseph I.)

A wonderful holiday. This year I would like to podniknul trip with a caravan to Norway. I'll see if it will.

I hope that I write clearly  ;)

Ah right, This will be our first time towing the caravan with an Omega (always used a 4wd before), The caravan is 1200Kg with a 200Q stabiliser.  :y

What sort of roadside recovery packages does everyone use for car and caravan recovery? Currently only have breakdown on the Elite so need to sort something out for the tractor.

RAC do a car / caravan product that gives free Caravan Club cover for about the same price. Might just be an RAC badged version!

Currently have "Mayday" breakdown cover with the Caravan Club, £63 for comprehensive cover
http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/insurance-and-finance/insurance/UK-breakdown-and-recovery
Give em a call, don't forget if you're not in the CC then that's an additional £38 to join to take advantage of the above price, so just over £100, not bad

Mayday breakdown and recovery + personal cover = £90.00

The main car (Omega) is covered for any driver, both myself and SWTSMBO are also covered for any vehicle we are in, caravan is covered, as well as "dual recovery" .. which for folks who don't know ... if the breakdown happens on the way TO a booked site, ie a holiday... then they will take you TO the site to have the holiday, then recover you home AFTER the holiday..  :)

You all know my Beastie & you can see my avatar. Boy racers in madly kitted puntos don't like being left for dead at the lights. 70 mph & he was way behind, gave up & pulled into the left hand lane behind me.
No substitute for cubes & in my case no need for a stabilizer as the van is shorter & lighter than the car but they are a good idea for bigger vans. :y
