Well as the Bucks meet is this weekend so thought I'd best get on & fix all the swirls inflicted by the so called hand car wash's they should just fill a bucket of water then fill half of it with grit, oh sorry they do that anyway  & I hate using them but after my foot operation I couldn't wash the car the way I do, so the wife was taking the car to them  .
Tried half the bonnet just to see what work I'm in for 





I got my answer & it was A LOT of work

Great looking car - and fantastic results  8-) - even before you'd taken the swirls out. Looks like I might have an assistant as well on Monday...
The next most important step now is to keep it looking like this when you wash it...

The good old 2 bucket method  , iirc the 2 old buckets only charge me £20 each an hour, ain't it great what you can get from a phone box

Can I ask what you used to black up under the bonnet?
Was is the back to black spray on stuff or did you use baby oil like a lot of oofer's recommend ?

I only use baby oil for one thing & one thing only & we don't have a baby

Seriously though, car doesn't look like it needs a respray at all - nice colour and great shine.
