Your car looks very nice and no doubt the interior and engine bay will echo the condition of the exterior but at the risk of upsetting you I'm sorry but I don't like the wheels .
The OEM wheels give it a much more solid look . :y

Looks very smart  :)

Cant make up my mind on aftermarket versus OE wheels on the Omega, and do agree with Olympia that the OE wheels for the MV6 (and the Elite) do have the effect of making the car look more solid and imposing. The Omega seems like the right material for aftermarket mods, but somehow doesn't look right when an owner takes the plunge. The only common mod on the FL Omegas that always looks good in my opinion is the discarding of the original griffin grille for an Irmscher or Irmscher style item.

I think the wheels you have chosen for your car have somehow given it the look of a first-generation Mondeo..... :o

Many thanks for yor comments.  Constructive criticisms always gladly received!!!  To be honest the wheels came with the car.  I have seen MV6' like mine with the OE wheels but given the choice I think I'd stick with mine.  However, I probably wouldn't have gone out my way to buy them myself.  Not even sure I know what they are!

Engine bay seems good but my mechanical skills are poor.  Its possible the rocker covers are leaking although I was told both had been replaced - I have seen the threads on non Vx parts!

It had the cloth interior so I've put the leather seats from an mini-facelift MV6 in.  Looks better but I've lost the heaters!  I've also got the airbag warning showing!

I think I agree about the grill.  Need to get the mechanics sorted and then look at the cosmetics!

First gen Mondeo seems a little steep!!!

Black !  My favourite Mig colour, surprisingly the same as mine.  :D ;) ;D

Each to their own regarding after market alloys but to me they seem fine and perhaps more importantly, in good condition if the pictures are anything to go by.

She looks nice.....just go a get the all black grill and you're laughing. Check out "German Ebay" such as:

That looks nice mate, as do the wheels!  No offence, but are the wheels standard?  If so, may have to change my mind on which ones I'd prefer!

The pre-facelift leather seats have different wiring to the facelift even though the connetors look the same they are different because of the variable heat settings on the facelift seats.I did the same thing and ended up with the airbag and constant heat to the seats. The only way round it is to source some MV6 leather from a facelift..We did exchange ours and the airbag light went out with no reset.

Lovely looking Omega! :y Also agree with a few other replies, the wheels really set it off and give it a slightly aggresive look. An after market grille such as Irmscher would make it look even better. 8-)

Angie,

Many thanks!

Fortunately I have no heat at all which isn't a concern now, not so sure about the winter tho!

The warning light is annoying, I was hoping a diagnostic tool would get rid but haven't had the chance to look into it!

Just out of interest, is that avatar actually you? Very impressed!
