How many times did I come a cropper doing that? Had a nice steep hill up the road from us.

... and oh, how my dad laughed when he saw that I'd made the front axle out of a piece of mahogany that was sitting around in his garage ;D

I had a Raleigh Chopper.  The back tyre had a red stripe on it as I recall and a gear leaver mounted on the crossbar.

I remember a few TV programmes / adverts:

Knight Rider (which somewhat sadly I suppose I have all episodes on DVD)  I thought that this was a great programme
Cats Eyes (a detective show)
Juliet Bravo
Boon
Tales of the Unexpected (being shown again on freeview)
Dukes of Hazard
The crossroads fire

Adverts:
Ready Break (the glowing child walking to school)
Mini Metro on the lighthouse
Vauxhall Cavalier
British Telecom shares
