Part number reqd for hose
« on: 22 August 2006, 08:58:25 »

I need a new coolant host, the one that goes from the HBV to the bridge bit at the back of the V.

Can anyone give me the part number?

Is it the one with the moulded-in branch?

No, its a single pipe about 3/4" in diameter that goes from Heater Bypass Valve to back of V.

Found it. Its in the interior fittings/air conditioning/heater hoses bit and not with all the other hoses in the cooling section.
From coolant bridge to heater bypass, has almost a U bend in it to reach the valve

Cheers Pete.

Nobody around here keeps them in stock or are willing to to say how long to get it  >:(

Just sent a PM to Ronnie McB to see if he has one....

McB has one, we were joking last night saying who in their right mind would want a secondhand heater bypass valve or hose.

I think it was OK, I took it off but only had a quick check on condition. I will have a better look tonight if Ronnie doesnt contact you first.
