Brighter Lights
« on: 28 October 2006, 21:26:45 »

Last year I swapped the standard bulbs for Osram Silverstar +50% more light with xenon gas it claimed - fairly inexpensive at £15.

Now the moon is out before I leave work they don't seem so bright.

Other than full Xenon refit can anyone suggest decent H1 bulbs that work?

With halogen bulbs (ie, non HIDS), the blue tint ones give less light.

Honestly, nothing comes close to the new Volvo Buses we have. The full beam would vapourise a Vampire. I aint seen a car that comes close to the light these produce.

I will take pics of before and after next time i'm out in Farmer Land. It is honestly like night and day. 40 watt versus 500 watt hallogen!!! Never seen anything like it on a vehicle :o
