Depending on how the wishbones were done your camber could need adjustment as well as the toe.

And before you go running off to your local KwikFit, you should brush up by visiting wheels-inmotion. An informative read.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Mine are doing the same after I changed/corrected the wishbone bushes.....

Needs the tracking doing as a minimum.

If your bones were well knackered but the wheels adjusted to track straight, your toe will now be a million miles out and you'll destroy your front tyres in no time at all.  Took me about 100 miles! Doh!!  Get that alignment sorted asap.

You should arm yourself with some info before you go and get it done, unless of course you know for sure the guy knows what he is doing.

S'why i said you should check out http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk  ::)

Most places can't do camber. Look at wheels-inmotion as suggested...

In Nottingham I do recommend Nottingham 4 wheel alignment centre. Mick is a friendly bloke and doesn't pad the job out with extras you don't need. Mine only needed toe doing after both wishbones and the steering idler change at the weekend. Cost £32 + VAT and no longer handles like a triffle on steroids. Lubbly jubbly straight line and no more screeeeeeeeeeeeeching.

Top job, straight steering wheel and 168 MPG now. Ok I lied about the MPG, but the rest is true.

Hi, I did my wishbones and drop links last weekend, and like yourself ended up with a horrible screeching noise at times when cornering, this was after having tracking done. It turned out to be the back plate touching the discs occasionaly. just put a screwdriver in between and moved it away, job done. Might be worth checking out.

Be very wise with your situation. It is likely the Camber adjusters have been released in order to fit the wishbones. It's unlikely the Camber positions have been returned after, so this is an immediate issue.

What is of concern is the noise you describe. On the Omega the only angles activated on a lock would be 'Camber' adjustable... Castor 'not adjustable' and 'TOOT' not adjustable. if you do indeed have tyre squeal then seek attention immediately.
If the issue is Camber related then this thread might prompt action on your behalf.
