Yup gives you a rough guide with a dry road, good visibility etc. So I was told on my driver assessors course.

Well you can't can you, but there's obviously perfectly good space to the left of you that you haven't used when you should've don't you think?

Two car gap is perfectly safe in my eyes......i dont mean to the exact foot....i mean 2 cars could easily fit in the gap i leave......unlike the majority......more like 12 feet!

Nope dont think i should actually, carnt see you using a slower lane somehow....or are you suggesting i undertake in a dangerous manor and then cut back into the 3rd lane when it suits me

I'm completely with Big Ron on this one. If 'I' can under take 'you' then 'you' should have been able to move left in the first place & that would have meant that 'I' wouldn't have needed to undertake 'you' Assuming of course normal/usual (not neccessarily legal) motor way speeds ie not seeing what you can get out of your car!

The main point about driving is to try not to get annoyed. Assume every other driver is an idiot, and be prepared for the worst.

Well in that case, you are being inconsiderate by impeding other motorists progress and not using due care and attention by not using the road properly.

carnt see you using a slower lane somehow....

I always use the furthestmost left lane as it's safe and possible to use. Most of the time you'll find me in lane 1! (Even theough my car tramlines like a b1tch in the truck furrows because of the wide tyres!!)

No, I'm suggesting you, (and everyone else!), uses the road as it was intended. There'd be much less congestion and much less frustration AND absolutely no requirement or indeed opportunity to undertake.

WRT cutting back into lane 3 when it suits you, that's not the words I'd use. I'd say change lanes in a safe manner when, (AND ONLY WHEN!), you have cause to overtake. After which you should retire to the furthestmost left lane as it's safe and possible to use.
