URGENT Advise Needed!!

I urgently need the expert advise of all you omega wizards out there.  I am in desperate need of a selector switch for the gearbox on my 2.6 V6 Automatic (Y-Reg).  JamesV6CDX has one in his garage, but I think it's off a pre-facelift model.  Does anybody know if this would still fit on my Y-Reg?  Or if anybody has one they would sell please let me know.
I desperately need to get my poorly car back on the road.  VX want £274 for a new one, which is way out of my price range. (I don't know how they sleep at night)!!!!

Not able to check properly right now, but I am pretty certain it is exactly the same switch as I don't recall any major gearbox change with the facelift.

Mark/Jaime will confirm no doubt.

Switch should be the same... its the same gearbox in pre-facelift and facelift

Not aware of any differences, but cannot confirm currently due to no EPC on laptop at moment...

That's fantastic...  Sounds like it should be compatible, so It's got to be worth a go.  If it doesn't fit for any reason, then at least someone might have the need for one in the future.  Either way, it will get a good home!!!  :)

Don't know if it would make a difference to the selector switch, but I'm guessing yours has got the sports button aswell?

If it's possible for you to post it, I will cover the postage costs and a donation towards your beer fund.  I worked out 9% of VX price to be about £23 so I thought about £40-£50 might hopefully cover part and postage, and hopefully go someway towards saying thanks.

If this sounds ok with you I'll send you a message later to discuss logistics and payment.  Don't like posting cash, so would a cheque be ok?  :y
