What seems to be the problem with flushing oil?  I have used it a couple of times and the results are fantastic.  I know there is a very small risk of damaging seals but I would think this would only happen if you left it in longer than recommened or if your seals were about to go anyway....?

Correct me if I am wrong, which giving my relative knowledge is highly likely...   ::)

Gaffers

If you do a flush with every oil change from new than you should be OK, but if you let the sludge get burried in various dark corners of the engine for 100k miles, and then flush - chances are the flush will shift an otherwise docile bit if sludge right up to a tiny oilway and block it - which will be terminal for the engine.

If the engine hasn't been flushed regularly so far, better leave it alone...
