I want a trade card!

Trade card, how do I go about getting one?

The reason I ask is the missus got quoted £27 on rocker gaskets for the MV6 plus vat EACH!!!
I did them 2k ago with cheap ones - against advice on here  ::) 2 rather K!!! Tonight I have oil in 1 + 3.

Kris is angry  >:(

Go to Autobahnstormers.co.uk download joining form, send off £20 of you English pounds and sit back and wait for trade card to arrive  :y  Mine took about 2 weeks, best £20 I've ever spent, saved me £££££

Unless you can prove your in the motor trade the other other way you get one is to join another forum like autobahnstormers for about £20 and they will issue you with a club TC card. The only difference is that you won't recieve a trade book or any of the flyers. HTH.

Ummm  no.....but with a TC card you will get 'trade' discount....a bit cheaper  :y

Its only popular service items you get on TC card.....and as we know cam cover gaskets never go....so arnt popular  ;D

No you can't, all you get is trade discount which basically will save you the VAT.

The black Estate one? It was owned briefly by a member here, Omegatoy....

Yup, Omegatoy of LC 2.0l Omega fame...

...and he now drives a 2.5TD Omega  ;D  (bloody fast though, by all accounts, not had the pleasure yet)

You wont get much off the rocker cover gaskets at all with TC. I bought the ones that Mark listed in his how to,. I think I saved about £4.

Rocker gaskets: 90511451, one set per bank (£25+ Vat retail)

O-rings: 90411826, 8 per bank (13p+ VAT retail)

Gasket, Inlet bridge to head: 90501652, 2 off  

Gasket, Inlet to Inlet bridge: 90501653, 3 off

Gasket, Inlet to Plenum O rings: 9118135, 6 off ( 1 pack of six)

Sealent, Black (not the Green stuff!): 90485251, 1 off

I paid about £135 for this lot, should have been about £140.
