Thanks all, checked your recommendations and cant find anything out of the usual so shall put it down to age and the previous owner not looking after her properly  

My other issue of stalling as you slow down has reared its head again though. Thought changing the fuel filter and putting in some fuel cleaner as well as a fresh tank of juice would have sorted it and to be honest thought it had, however its started again on my way home from pontefract. Happens as you reach about 5-10mph but starts straight away when pushed into nuetral and turn ignition. Cant see whats causing it as it only started after I put in a bad batch of fuel.

Do u think I should leave alone until ive had a couple of fuel refills and the cleaner has had more time to work or do u possibly think their is something else causing this??
