If no leaks or hot running, I really wouldn't bother.

Just do a cooling system flush with new VX antifreeze 50/50 mix.

To answer your question, the Rad is a dead easy job, on any of the Meega's.

Mmm! I can feel the high temp warning on my car again the next time I tow my 'van, normally everything is fine - doesn't really waver off 95 deg. If this persistant rain stops I'll be playing with my infra red thermometer and checking various bits of my radiator, time (& being 4r$ed  :o) permitting

On a T reg 3.0 - 95 deg totally normal

If you have access to the infa red though - would be interesting to have a play!

My MV6 normally runs about 92/93 when cruising, up to 95/96 in traffic before fans have a little chat...

Cruising at 95 seems a bit high to me...

When I said  Normal , perhaps I should have said solo ie without a 'van. Generally the temp with the 'van on was around 97/98 deg, it was just the long incline at 60mph that caused the temp to go high enough to put the high temp light on.

Touche/  mine never went above 97 in the highlighted situation, until I flushed the system...  I'm asuming I/ve got a badly blocked rad...  have tried flusing it several times now, no change!!!   110k miles....  time for a new rad????? :'(
