Workshop manual & torque setting for manifold
« on: 20 July 2007, 18:08:50 »

I have a 2.5TD 1995. In the past I have always bought a Haynes workshop manual for my cars.

This time I have a problem in that the Haynes manual doesn't cover the diesel models...

So first question is what do the rest of you do? Can one obtain manuals from elsewhere? And if so at what cost?

The 2nd question is that I am about to change my glow plugs for which I need to remove the inlet manifold. So bearing in mind I don't have a manual... Can anyone advise on the torque settings for fitting the glow plugs and re-fitting the inlet manifold?
Cheers
Roger

Not covered by the book of lies...  ...though may be in a BMW Haynes?

Anyways...

Intake to head, 23Nm, supposed to use new nuts, I don't.

Glow Plugs, 22Nm, cables, 5Nm.
