« on: 31 July 2007, 10:13:25 »

anyone recommend a decent spark plug for a facelift 2.5 v6?  what about the bosch 4 electrode?  im trying out some new plugs cos i seem to be lacking some low revs acceleration or is that the norm? it seems to get her moving i have to drop a gear or two......

Vauxhall 4 electrode plugs intended for the 2.6 & 3.2 cars. That's what's in my 3.0 Probably cheaper than Bosch too (especially with TC)

The twin electrodes are better as they shield the flame front in the cylidner less, the only advantage the 4 electrode ones have is that in theory they last twice as long (although often work loose before this advantage can be realised)

Stick with the GM ones, very cheap and good if you have a Trade card ;)
