Wheel Balancing !!!!!
« on: 19 August 2007, 16:44:38 »

How long should wheels stay in balance after they have checked and reweighted ?
1000, 5000, 10,000, miles. I have had all four wheels checked and rebalanced three times this week, with the same tyre fitter, I have watched and each time they were 15/45 grams out, problem with the equipment, should it be recalibrated ?
An advise please.
Car still vibrates from 55 and again around 80.
Can anyone recommend a good tyre fitter in my area ?
regards   :(

I always take mine to Becketts it just half a mile down the road from Junction 3 of the M42 heading into Birmingham on the A435.

I was told by our tyre fitter that if youget wobble through your steering wheel up to 60mph that is your front wheels that require balancing, anything above that will be your rears :-?
As for 10,000 miles be lucky to get that out of mine ;D
