Or in my case the bloody kitten this afternoon I stood on him and thought I killed him quick rush down to the vets with him as he was holding his front leg up and would not walk. £75 later he is back at home and up to his usual mischief . With no problem at all. Must admit most of that money was for his vaccination I had done while he was there but still two injections and ten minute of the vets time £75
Years ago I used to go what we then called egging, collecting birds eggs (Get locked up for it now) the eggs were only garden birds, we were only about 10 at the time.
Anyway, my cousin came across a nest that had 2 black bird chicks, the mother was still on the nest and was dead.
My cousin took them home and spent months hand rearing the 2 birds, one did die but the other survived, the chick used to follow him all over the house crying out for food.
One morning the bird was calling out and he was in bed, it was about 2 in the morning, he got out of bed, came down stairs and when he got to the bottom step he stepped on something soft and squelshy, he put the light on to see the bird stuck to his foot.
He was well gutted and upset, he used to break out crying on occassions, when he told my the next day I P*ssed myself.
