How well do they mix?
After drowning & recovering my TD in July's floods, when cold it was miss-firing for a few seconds until given a bit more throttle after which it behaved perfectly
I thought that I had solved the problem by running Redex Ultiimate treatment through, but it's back again
Could it be that an injector or two have suffered some sort of harm like rust?
If so is there a remedy apart from new hideously expensive injectors?

Get some Diesel Forte and put in the filter bowl, replace filter at the same time. Start engine and allow to idle for 15 mins.
This should give the injectors a good clean

Injector bneedles and pintle tips (the bit that actually injects the fuel) are prescision ground bits of metal.  If the are not prperly mating correctly, they leak and dribble, causing smoke and other things such as poss of power.

If water has gotten in and left to settle then they can possibly have started to rust, which could be a problem.  Forte cleaner will not fix them but they may need reground/reconditioned, if such stripdown and rebuild is possible on these ones....

If as you say it has behaved it is more likely to be water in the line, how drowned was it i.e. how high was the water, if high did you check the tank, dribbling injectors do not normally operate intermitantly, they dribble full stop. Addatives will not do anything if it is water or in the main anything else, just give you loss of power.
Use a screwdriver to your ear and listen to the injectors, you will hear if any are missbehaving, if unresolved check the filters for any sign of water, in any event change them but blow the lines through first, if that cures it but it then returns you are likely to have water in the tank. good luck

Water through an old style diesel direct injector 'scores' it, knackering it.

Water only got in through the air intake (so low to the ground), so fuel tank/ lines/ filters were unaffected therefore the conclusion must be that damage was done as TB suggests
There is no smoke, no loss of power, just the irritating misfire for a couple of seconds when it first starts from cold
Could the Redex have rectified this temporarily as it appears to have done?
Can the injectors be reconditioned, if so where would be a good place to send them?

But water wouldn't have got in to injectors - the pressure when they fire is such that diesel comes out, but no water would get in  :-/

Did you check glows, and the glow controllers?
