2.6l plenum removal
« on: 04 December 2007, 16:46:59 »

I've almost got the plenum cover off, but can't remove the multi ram plug. I've depressed the two wire clips and pulled 'til I'm blue in the face, but it won't come away. I'm afraid to use greater force until I'm certain how it's supposed to come out.
Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong, please?
Thanks.

Might just be a bit tight.....as a short term fix, use a small flat blade screw driver to remove the metal retaining clip from the connector, this can then be re-fitted before re-assembly

I personaly find that pushing them on hard, then squeezing the clips before pulling gets them off every time.

Thanks Mark.
Got to do a couple of business calls now, so I'll have another go a little later.
