My auto gearbox went on my 98 2.5V6 CDX a few weeks and being an idiot only decided today too look properly at the fuses  

And yes the fuse had gone, so swapped it for a spare and the auto gearbox kicked back in   Only to conk out again 5 mins later, check ed and yep the fuse had gone again.

So any ideas as to whats shorting the fuse? When the auto worked for all of 5 mins it seemed fine, did a paperclip test few days ago and got a 135, also checked the voltage over the battery, 12.8 and 13.5 when running.

the only other thing I noticed is that quite a few fuses seemed to missing:

No 4 - Cooling fan
No 6 - Radio - works fine though?
No 8 - daylight running lamps
No 27 - Auto levelling system
No 24 Coolant Heating.

So any ideas?  :-?
