I've never tried this forum before but I'll give it a go. Can anyone tell me what it means if the traction control light and the engine light come on togethar. This has happend very raerly before but it happend twice yesterday and they stayed on for a while, is this something to do with the icey wheather? Is my V6 on it's arse?

If they come on and go out again, I wouldn't worry too much at the mo. It may be a sign of trouble to come, but it maybe the cold/damp.

Read the fault codes from the engine as a starter, there should be one stored........did the rev counter do anything strange?

Look in the maintenance guide area for info on the paper clip test which describes how to read fault codes for free.
