THE JOB IS COMPLETE "shes back"
« on: 24 December 2007, 17:52:40 »

Finished off my manifold gaskets today, and might i say a job that i don't want to be doing again soon..

Replaced my breathers and vac hoses as well as my altinator hacked through my vac pipe and left the car running rather lumpy, done a oil change and anti freeze change weird but i seam to have a better heater now lol....

Any body thinking of doing a manifold gasket on a 3.0 v6 my advice is plenty of pateince and heat those nuts up on the manifold a treat before you try to remove them...

have a good x mas all, i'm happy cuz i can now drive my car with out sounding like a tank....

Yeah, most of the bleeding knuckles came from me spending a hour trying to get the dip stick tube out of the engine because it blocks the last manifold bolt u need to get to it just would not come out even after a whole can of duck oil still wouldnt budge.... and also the heat guard on the abs pump was a bum hole to fit back on lol.

Very pleased over all thou, nice to be able to drive around with out every one looking and pointing - trust me it was loud b4  ;D
