repair or scrap?
« on: 02 January 2008, 16:28:50 »

have been most unhappy with my omega since i got it, a lot of you will remember my posts about the problems i have had with it, well today it finally got the better of me again, driving along the M1 at 60 ..ish .. when it lost all power and sounded like a washing machine, called the RAC out to be told that my cam belt has gone.

is this fatal for the omega? is it repairable? or is it now just a pile of scrap sitting on my drive?

1997 'R' reg 2.0L Tourer estate

thanks Tony

My only concern that would prevent me, is the distance....
